Cowboy Camelids Alpaca Ranch is located in the quiet Village of Bosque Farms. This is located just a few miles south of the bustling metropolis of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our boys and girls live an easy life on our few acres, which are nestled in the green fields and big trees of the Rio Grande valley.
Bill and Angela Richardson own Cowboy Camelids along with our son Travis. Our goal is to raise healthy, people friendly well-conformed Alpacas for; fiber, show and purchase. We have animals for sell. We will agist (board). Our fist cria (a beautiful girl named Calamity Jane) was born on June 1st of 2011. Our second (a handsome boy named Chaz) was born on October 2. We will have more cria in the spring.
Our farm store is stocked with antiques and collectibles plus fine Alpaca fiber products from yarn and socks to coats, hats and scarves. There are craftspeople that will be at our special farm days to teach and display spinning, weaving and felting of Alpaca fiber.
The farm and store are open most weekends; please call for an appointment during the week. We look forward to visitors.
